Safeguarding by design
SwimPathway separates safeguarding concerns and case work from ordinary club administration. Access is intended for appropriately appointed and authorised people, with clear club scope and retained action history.
Club responsibility
Each club remains responsible for its safeguarding arrangements, appointments, decisions, policies and reporting duties. Technology can support those processes but does not replace trained judgement or statutory and governing-body procedures.
Restricted information
- Safeguarding access is not granted through general club administration alone.
- Sensitive evidence remains private and is not published through member or public-site views.
- Notifications avoid disclosing safeguarding narratives outside the restricted workflow.
- Health & Safety reports remain a separate operational record type.
Urgent concerns and emergencies
SwimPathway is not an emergency service and the public contact address is not an emergency reporting line. Anyone facing an immediate risk should contact the appropriate emergency service and follow their club's safeguarding and statutory reporting procedures.
Platform questions
Questions about the platform's safeguarding design or privacy controls can be sent to admin@swimpathway.com. Do not include unnecessary sensitive case details in an ordinary email.
