About this notice
SwimPathway is a hosted platform for swimming-club development and operations. This pre-launch notice explains the broad categories of information the service may handle and the product controls designed around that work.
The exact legal responsibilities of SwimPathway and each subscribing club will depend on the relevant use, contract and applicable law. Final wording will be confirmed through professional review before general launch.
Information the platform may process
- Account and profile information for authorised platform users.
- Club memberships, roles, permissions and approved family relationships.
- Swimmer, coaching, attendance, result, goal and programme information.
- Qualification, compliance and private evidence metadata where a club uses those functions.
- Safeguarding, Health & Safety and governance information under restricted workflows.
- Operational records such as invitations, enquiries, notifications, audit history and billing status.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide the club workspace, support swimmer development, operate club workflows, apply access controls, maintain service security and help clubs meet their own responsibilities.
Clubs are responsible for deciding how they use member information within their organisation and for providing appropriate information to their members. SwimPathway provides the hosted service and supporting platform controls under the agreed commercial arrangement.
Security and access
SwimPathway is designed with club-scoped records, role-aware access, approved relationship checks, private file storage and audit history for sensitive actions. No online service can promise absolute security, and controls are reviewed as the product develops.
Retention and data rights
Retention depends on the type of record, the club's responsibilities, contractual requirements and any lawful need to preserve information. The platform includes foundations for access, correction, export, closure, legal hold and controlled anonymisation workflows.
A person wishing to ask about their information should normally contact their club first where the request concerns club records. Platform-level privacy questions can be sent to admin@swimpathway.com.
Cookies and analytics
The service may use essential technical mechanisms needed for secure sessions and normal site operation. This draft does not claim the use of optional analytics or advertising cookies where those tools have not been confirmed. Any future use will require accurate notice and appropriate controls.
